UV Disinfection

UV is a long-established technology for disinfecting drinking water UV technology is an ideal addition to a multi-barrier water treatment system.

Unlike chemical approaches to water disinfection, Ultraviolet (UV) light provides rapid and effective inactivation of microorganisms through a physical process by disrupting their DNA. It removes the health threat from water-borne pathogens without creating the toxic disinfection by-products produced when chlorine is used for drinking water disinfection.

UV technology is particularly suited to potable water treatment, beverage and bottled water production and food processing industries to maintain high standards of hygiene and product quality.

Food and Beverage Industries

Used to disinfect any water that is either used as an ingredient, or comes in contacts with, food and beverage products without chemicals or pasteurization.

Potable Water Treatment

Used as part of a multi-barrier water treatment system approach for potable drinking water treatment.
